Let's go N.A.S.D.A. teams! We hope to promote, grow and share our enthusiasm for sport dog events and skill building. Join us for fun adventures in scent work with your dog.
Key Concepts
Ode to the nose. Dogs have 50 times (around 300 million) more olfactory receptors in their nose than humans. Our sport highlights this amazing gift and we utilize the dogs talents for a fun time with their handler.
Urban Locating
Bring the hunt to an urban environment. Navigate the everyday areas, indoor and outdoor, with hunting activies.
Lost Item
Game on! Let's find a lost item, but what could it be? The dog will sniff out the clues to find a variety of lost items with a "specific odor."
Trailing and Locating
Use your dog's natural abilities to sniff out a "treasure" in a natural environment. Your dog will enjoy having a job that challenges their instincts.
Shed Dog
Dogs have the ability to sniff out antlers in the woods better than people do looking. This is a hunt and locate in a natural hunting terrain that is fun for dog and handler.
Trailing Brace
Teamwork makes the dream work. Pair up with another dog/handler team to work a dynamic team hunt.
Lessons
All about dogs; not quite. We focus on the natural talents of dogs for the sport but also bring out the best in the handler. We train the dogs people too.
